Going Gaga

Last year, that was not so long ago, in fact it's almost 4 days from since, I go crazy over TV series.

There was/ is The Walking Dead. Through this series, zombies gained my respect. Though they're messy and i bet, smelly, it make me think what really makes us. Many philosophers and even religion said that man is a tripartite being: body, soul and spirit. The body is the capsule of the soul and spirit. The body encompasses man's animality while the soul and spirit hold the rationality. Zombies, without emotions, without logic, are animals in human form.



The Revenge. Another American TV series that centers on a young woman who was welcomed to a community without knowing her real intention. It's about trust, betrayal, motives, at ang uso sa Pinoy, kabit! What goes around, comes around. It's so Pinoy, that's why I.m wondering if the writers are trained by our Pinoy writers :D

Life. Damian Lewis as Charlie Crews, wrongly imprisoned for years. In prison, he became philosophical. What i really like in this series are the aphorisms from him.

Charlie Crews: Kidnapping? Who is kidnapping? We are not kids and no one is napping.

Charlie Crews: Violence against one is violence against all. Violence against all is violence against myself.

House, MD. I know, like Life, this series was history, but no matter what, it's a very good series. Though, I have mix emotions towards Gregory. He's so antisocial that sometimes I want to imitate him when I feel that everything around me is hypocrisy. Like Crews, House is full of maxims.

Castle. Like Life, it's a crime/drama but more on a less serious side. Rick Castle is a writer who gets permission  from NY Mayor to be a part of homicide investigation team.

Then, my co-teachers go gaga over this Korean TV series. They even shortened their class scheduled and re-grouped in the Faculty Room to continue the session. It gets the curiosity out of me. 

A Gentleman's Dignity. It's about four men who goes through life. 

Rooftop Prince. It's comedy romance.

I have not started these two yet, I'll watch it, sa February pa naman balik ng TWD.
